We created an Italian style Pre-Raphaelite tabernacle frame for print copy of Flaming June by Lord Frederic Leighton. The raw wood frame was made from obeche, a dry wood from Africa. The whole frame was gessoed and decoration was applied before being finished in 22 carat leaf using the water gilding method.
